Leave Me Behind by K.M. Moronova 

Nell is a part of the dark forces and the lone survivor of her squad. She is sent to be apart of a new team. When she is on her way she ends up having a one night stand only to find out the guy is her new comrade. 

 

Woah, like I knew this was a dark romance but was not expecting it to be so dark. Haha, my bad. I did really enjoy it though. It was tense and emotional! Loved the military romance aspect. They both grew I feel like. 

 

I didn’t really fall in love with any of the characters though. Probably a me problem but it did make it hard for me to really feel the story. There was a lot of action and a lot of spice. I thought it was well done though. 

 

Definitely would say if you enjoy dark military romances with some spicy scenes you’d enjoy this.
