 while I appreciate the fact that this book highlights how hard pregnancy can be, this book was a struggle to get through. The entire conflict was just Kristen deciding not to open her mouth and explain what was going on. It was almost worse than the miscommunication trope because it was just the refusal to communicate. Also, the fact that Kristen hated herself because of her fertility issues drove me up a wall. ALSO just because someone likes for things to be neat and tidy does not mean that they have OCD. The second the author wrote “my ocd winced, I wanted to throw the book against the wall. abby did a pretty good job at trivializing ocd and that really frustrated me.
