Ngl at first I was annoyed that it ended up being Maya because it felt like such a trope, one girl killing the other (even if by accident) to get her man. But then Olivia’s observation that Lily was not killed because Maya was threatened by her trans-ness but by her being a woman sorta shook me and added a whole other layer of complexity to the situation.
