This book is so well written (especially with the romance) and is definitely a good start to a new trilogy. But this book DID NOT have to be 500 pages. It dragged in the first trial for quite a bit. The "twist" was easy to see but still entertaining. If this was 100 pages less it would definitely be a 4.5.
