Shine Not Burn
by Elle Casey
Argh I'm slightly conflicted about this book. I love the story but I just have issues with everything else. It's 2.5 stars.
1) some parts were hot and steamy and some party where agonisingly boring and longwinded.
2) the dialogue was really sexist at times. I mean "she was mine first" and "the best man won" SHES A WOMAN FOR CHRISTS SAKE NOT AN OBJECT YOU CAN WIN!!!!. little sexist comments throughout the book really annoyed me.
3) I have a slight issue with the cheating which isn't looked at as cheating but still is.
4) Andie explained everything to Bradley on the phone but once he arrived at the ranch he had no clue about it anymore? not sure what that was all about
5) whats with the fighting near the end?? I'm British so maybe I don't know, but I didn't think all because you're in rural America, it gives everyone the right to throw punches at each other?
