Balancing Act by Joanna Trollope

2.0

I've enjoyed Joanna Trollope's novels over a number of years and was looking for a quick enjoyable read, unfortunately I was disappointed. The characters were not written as well as in her other novels and I didn't really care about them apart from poor Jasper who put up with a great deal from his selfish wife! The ease with which Morris was welcomed back into the fold was unbelievable especially in these days of caution with unfamiliar men. In the end a book which I should have enjoyed and which should have taken me just a short time to read dragged on and I was glad to finish it.
