Excited for book 2!
I am a huge fan of the enemies to lovers romance story line.
The world building was done very well and jumped right into being an exciting plot. One thing I loved was the acknowledgment of modern technology at least in the human realm.
This book has a strong female main character with sass and I'm here for it! Dani's character is my favorite and the story is told from her POV, so this may be why. I'm hoping maybe in the future books we could see a little more of the other characters' perspectives.
From the description of the book I knew that this was going to be an almost spin off of ACOTAR, but I was hoping for more "inspired by" rather than spin off (not sure how else to explain that one...)
The ending definitely had me thrown for a loop and overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I am looking forward to the 2nd book
