well drawn and paced. filled with a tremendous menu of foods. if a restaurant existed that could make and describe its foods this way you’d never leave.
as a whole the book is cute and fun but has no apparent plot or purpose.
also the details of the “otherworldly “ restaurant are scant if not fully ignored.
it isn’t really until the end of the volume that the reader gets any idea as to the how, why and when of the story.
a marginal book overall unless you really need a comic book to describe sushi recipes.
