I was really excited for this book. I was. Because I, like I'm sure you as a reader have as well, have asked myself the question, "Yeah, but what's going on to the rest of the students when the school blows up?" Among similar questions, multiple times. Yet, this book really was just another fiction work with the occasional mention of a supernatural event. It reads, at least to me, like a contemporary. In that genre, it's not terrible, but it isn't anything special either. So, three stars.
