And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

4.0

4.25 - 4.5.
such a captivating read.
honestly, it was a little hard to get into a first because of all the info dump on the characters in the first chapter but it eventually became a lot more palatable when I started writing notes on the characters and sticky noted important information.
to truly enjoy and immerse yourself into this book, you need to be switched on.
no passive reading. passively reading this book will not do you any favours and this read will not be a rewarding read.
what kept me turning page after page was the curiosity that was paved in previous chapters by the actions/thoughts of the characters. once i started, i really couldn't stop myself.
love, love, love the transformation of dark nursery rhymes into full length stories.
definitely worth a read.
