For me, I was drawn in by the character's credibility or the emotional manipulation for the reader's entertainment. I've never read anything so close to a potential cinematic thriller without any flaws so I was very impressed. The book is so easy to whizz through in one sitting - it can take longer if you find the TW quite difficult. If you're expecting a typical CoHo book, don't.
