Dreams in a Time of War by Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o

This book is packed with information and it definitely makes it so captivating. However, the style on narration is not exactly my cup of tea which made me pause on the book not in the “I need to pause and think what I just read” way but more in a “I need to take a break from this book for a bit before I find resources for it again”. It is a very reflective read and an important one as it talks about colonialism, civil war, and other related problems from a perspective of the colonised. Only for that it is a must read because it is still rather rare.
