Home Is Where You Are by Melissa Grace

This was a very sweet romance between bakery owner Liv and famous rock star Jax. I was a bit hesitant about starting this book with Liv being 8 years older than Jax but it totally worked. They fit together so well and I loved the chemistry between them. ⠀

After a recent divorce, Liv struggled with some things that added a lot of depth to the book. Our swoony hero Jax was exactly what Liv needed. He was caring, thoughtful and selfless. He encouraged Liv to pursue her dreams and got her to start living again. Liv's journey of finding herself and being happy again made me root for her the whole way through.⠀

One thing that made this book so special were the relationships. Liv, her best friend Ella and daughter Grace were like family. As were Jax and his bandmates. Together, the whole lot of them were a fun group who were all there to support each other.⠀

I did feel that Jax fell a bit too fast for Liv. I also missed the steam. Other than that, I look forward to reading the next book in the series.⠀
