Oh wow oh wow. Leslie you've outdone yourself here!! I'm even writing this part before I get to the end, that's how good it is!!
Enemies to lovers (sapphic!!) done perfectly, and it's not even toxic! (Low bar, I know but somehow a lot doesn't pass it still lol), absolutely enthralling world design (man I NEED to learn ink magic lmao) and such captivating characters!
This one really gets deep into world lore and fleshing out everything from book 1. More of Briar's past, more about Fi's curse, more magic, more everything!! If you even just slightly liked book 1, you'll love book 2!
Honestly can't rant enough about this book. It is perfectly what I want from a sequel, and yet I just want more!!
