Call me Henry the 8th because I am DEAD!
Omg this was way too fun. I am now officially uncomfortable and in distress about how much I love ridiculous romances. Like the quote from the book says “Lucy felt pagan just looking at him”. That’s me with this book. It’s problematic. This novel took off its shirt and I blushed, ya know what I’m saying?
Jeremy is a dirty mr. Darcy and can i just say, nobody asked for this, but everyone is loving it. “Most ardently”.
I’ll leave my favorite quote here, just to get a better understanding of how ridiculous this book is (Dame Judy Dench reading in the most perfect British accent): *whilst getting it on* “Lucy never claimed to be an authority on the definition of ladylike behavior, but she knew the difference between good breeding and...well, just plain breeding”. Stop! GET OUT NO I’M WHEEZING
