After the death of the head of the fellowship, the story is split in 2. Alternating chapters detail the past life of the fellowships beginnings, and the modern day of the young lead finding his way in the world. It’s a very cool concept, and the two stories told simultaneously work very well together. My only issue is I found the main character a bit annoying. I like flawed characters, but this boy doesn’t stand a chance…
