📚I'm glad my mom died - Jennette McCurdy
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5

This book proves that you never know what someone is going through. That person can seem so happy but be so devastatingly depressed. They could be climbing a mountain but seem like they are already at the top with a pretty view. This book is reality. This book is raw. And I appreciated it so so much.

I'm not a girl who often reads memoirs, but when I saw someone from one of my favorite tv shows as a child had written a book, then I instantly put it on my tbr. Then I heard all the rave about it and got scared to read it. But here I am finally getting through it after months of thinking about picking it up, and I have zero regrets. This book is worth the hype. This book shows love, heartbreak, abuse, and growth. All the good and bad of life wrapped up into about 300 pages. This is one that I will be thinking about for a long long time.

This completely changed my thoughts on child acting. This makes me want to go back and watch the show to see if I could see any signs. To see if she really hid everything so well. Everyone needs to read this book. But make sure you read the triggers first.
