Dear Data by Giorgia Lupi, Maria Popova, Stefanie Posavec

4.0

A big form soft cover book with a series of graphic postcards that two friends sent back and forth for a year. Their drawing/graphing chronicles their mundane interpretations of their lives. What a brilliant tool for using with students to look at data in different ways. They cover how many times they say thank you to their partner, or how many times they look in the mirror etc...Really approachable and alternative narrative form.

“To draw is to remember”. Love the last few pages that chart out the how and why of collecting your own data. So interesting.
