This was so utterly boring and, honestly, just felt like a childish version at 'A Little Life' -- which I also hated. I don't typically read books written like journals but I don't mind giving them a go but this just didn't pull it off right. There were way too many characters, and I didn't connect with anyone. Whilst I could relate to Charlie on some aspects, however a lot of it just felt like romanticization.
