If that is not a dystopian future, then I don't know what is. Amazing, wonderfully crafted story of us. What happened to us after things went bad, and we all went crazy. Right?
Split us up into stories (miles)-deep silos. Everyone segregated by job/status/color. Everyone living in a dictatorship with full censorship in effect. Stay quiet, do your job, and we won't send you out.... send you out to your death.
This is politics and fanaticism at its best, and not based on religious ideals, either. Just crazy folks in charge of worker-bees; until revolution happens. The story gives us hope that none of us will just go along to get along; but that we will rise, collectively and with a purpose ..not a purpose of destruction, but to live.
