Confess has an intriguing premise right from the start, and I couldn’t stop trying to figure out Owen’s confession he would never share. The concept of his art—creating paintings inspired by anonymous confessions—is so unique and the included images were visually compelling. I loved how it added depth to the story.
While I enjoyed cheering for Owen and Auburn, the pacing felt uneven at times. The resolution wrapped up almost too easily and left me wanting more, especially without an epilogue to tie things together. Overall, it’s an interesting read with a cool concept, though it didn’t completely blow me away.
