I have mixed feelings about this book. The same can be said for most books I read, but this was a little different.
There is only one thing, in YA especially, that can make me instantly loathe a book: an annoying main character. And, let me tell you, Molly annoyed the ever-loving crap out of me. She's whiny, clingy, and extremely sensitive. Even though she's sixteen, she certainly doesn't act like it.
And yet, I don't hate this book. The writing and plot is good, and I really love all of the other characters. Victor, the love interest, is the best. I definitely need a Victor in my life. Also, Weston and Annabelle are the cutest. And don't even get me started on Pandora; I have a soft spot for dogs!
Mostly, I'm just frustrated. This would be such a great book if the MC was at least a little more likeable. *groans* *the frustration is real*
Overall, I just hope we get some character development in this next book, because while the other characters are literally the most adorable things ever, I don't know if they can make up for Molly for another book...
