I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman
3.0
One word, overhyped.
There was so much potential for this book in the beginning, but as I kept reading, I was continuously disappointed by the lack of movement in the story. Even though “child” pre-warned readers this wouldn’t be a happy story, I still had a sense of wanting her to discover humanity.
Though I will say I’ve never felt more grateful for the ability to think or have some sense of answers.
