I forgot how Paolini ends every book with a stereotypical battle scene. It's still pretty awesome, of course. And the addition of new characters in this book makes it better: Oromis, Elva, Angela, Nasuada... there are some strong female leaders in this book to help Eragon, which I appreciate. Plus seeing where Roran ended up is oddly gratifying. Great reread.
