Things I liked:

• Expansion of the majority of characters.
• Ambitious use of numerous perspectives.
• Better use of the women with a lot of focus on mothers.
• Storm’s crazy kill count.
• Everyone having their own agenda.

Things I disliked:

• The lack of the draig, feel like some really interesting conflicts could’ve come from its appetite and possibly the death of innocents because of it.
• Vin Thalun as a whole; the bloodthirsty savages from islands that rape, pillage and slaughter is overused in fantasy and I’d be less bothered if they were doing so in search of arable land instead of more senseless violence.
• Need more of the giants as they were some of the best parts for me along with getting to know more about the different groups.
