Quackery: A Brief History of the Worst Ways to Cure Everything
by Nate Pedersen, Lydia Kang
funny
informative
medium-paced
This book was really interesting, and also absolutely ridiculous. Each chapter made me so glad that modern medicine has advanced to the point where some of these wild treatments have been laid by the wayside. There were so many interesting facts that I learned from this book, crazy treatments that I had never heard of, and a lot of humor. I really enjoyed this book. If you are into weird things or medical history, this is a great book. I have the Audible version, but the physical copy is around 300 pages.
