‘We were nostalgic for a time that wasn’t yet over’
I heard many great things about this book - nothing specific just that it’s great and has amazing writing. And that is absolutely true.
I didn’t go into this hook with the intention to tab anything. But I just needed to because of how beautiful it was written, how much it moved me.
Because while I have never experienced what Marin had to go through she still felt relatable to me.
Maybe we all experience loneliness in our own ways and having someone spell out their loneliness makes it hurt a little less.
I might add more quotes under here and more thoughts. Tomorrow! I need to go to bed and find a quiet place to think about this book I just read in the last two hours.
