ellisknox 's review for:
The Foundation Trilogy
by Isaac Asimov
I have fond memories of this book. I discovered it in a used bookstore in downtown Portland when I was about 15. I had already come under the spell of Andre Norton and Ray Bradbury and Jules Verne and H.G. Wells, so I knew I liked science fiction. In a back room, in a box in the back room with a jumble of other books, was this huge hardbound book called the Foundation Trilogy. I started reading and was at once hooked.
The book cost me fifty cents. I was so enthralled by the concept of the books that I spent some months trying to figure out if I could invent psychohistory. Several graphs and outlines later, I concluded that Seldon was right: there's not yet enough data.
There's no need for a review. Everyone on the planet knows this book and the ones who don't should buy it at once.
