You'd Be Home Now

Its a no for me.
I just didn't particularly like any of the characters. I understood the story but it didn't feel hard hitting or erupt emotion in me at all- the reader is bubble wrapped and the trauma isn't felt. It feels like an addiction awareness campaign more than addiction understanding with depth and grit and impactful insight. The balance just isn't quite right.
