This is not the best book on personal finance that you will read, but it certainly is one of the most entertaining and easy to read.
Sam Beckbessinger is a South African fintech entrepreneur who brings her learnings on 'adulting', or at least the money part of it, to the fore in this explicit (in both senses) book. She touches on all aspects of personal finance including saving, investing, and retirement. There are some more practical elements too including how to select a bank account, increasing income through side-hustles and asking for raises and why buying a car is a bad idea.
As with any book, I didn't agree with everything here. Nonetheless, I commend this book for its conversational style and how simplified most of these concepts are made. Definitely worth adding to your library.
