This Is Why They Hate Us filled me up like a balloon. It is funny and sweet and sad and beautiful. The characters are all so rich and real. Quique is an almost perfect protagonist, and his experiences are the perfect combination of universal and deeply specific and personal. A gorgeous, deeply moving story. A million stars.
