This is beyond a 5 star read for me this might be one of the best novels I have read. Each of the characters (main and sub) all had development throughout the novel. It was an interesting style that the novel was written in especially with some of the chapters being written like a letter but in its own unique way. So many things surrounding characters unraveled at different times that I was on my seat and could not put the novel down-I finished it in one sitting. With CELIE, the main character her development was the most joyful to read. I was so happy to see her become an individual and see her influence other characters in different ways. The ending just wrapped everything for me very happy with the novel will definitely read again at a later time. I tried not to spoil anything in this review
