Stunning, brilliant, deeply dehumanising yet reveals how at our very core, it is human interest to crave companionship or a reprieve from loneliness. Extremely graphic but a great read - definitely will be thinking about this one for a while.
Graphic: Animal death, Sexual violence, Cannibalism, Pandemic/Epidemic, Violence, Animal cruelty, Blood, Pregnancy, and Sexual content
Moderate: Trafficking, Child death, Gore, Physical abuse, Rape, Sexism, and Slavery
