Crying in the Bathroom
by Erika L. Sánchez
While I enjoyed Sanchez's book 'Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter', a lot, I didn't enjoy this so much.
I DID appreciate her viewpoints on growing up Mexican, I DO appreciate her speaking out about mental health, and her personal experiences. But, overall, I found her very off putting. There was a lot of vagina and sex talk, which is fine, it's just not my personal cup of tea. I just don't think she's my cup of tea, in general. I feel like she's one of those people who complains about harmful comedians being 'cancelled'. Supposedly, this is funny in some way, but not so much for me.
Just.. not a fit for me.
