Oh my gosh, this book was everything I didn’t know I needed … and then some! It had me laughing out loud, blushing, and grinning like a lunatic at my Kindle. The Dicktionary Club is a perfect blend of humour, heart, and unapologetic spice, and just a true breath of fresh air.

I absolutely adored the trio of main girls. Ella, Zola, and Katy , and I wholeheartedly loved their fierce friendship. It felt so real and relatable, especially since my real-life bestie is also named Katie, which made it feel even more personal and joyful.

Set in Glasgow, the Scottish banter gave the whole story extra charm. I could hear the dialogue in my head thanks to my own Scottish besties (thanks Cherise and Eilidh), it just brought it all to life in the most vivid, hilarious way.

And speaking of hilarious: this book is genuinely one of the funniest things I’ve ever read. I was cackling (yes, actually cackling) on multiple occasions… from the squirting scene to the “sucking a thumb” drama with Harry. I even had to read bits aloud to my partner because he wanted to know what had me doubled over. This book is GOLD.

The pacing? Chef’s kiss. Fast, fun, and flowing all the way through. Not a single slow moment. The friendships were fierce, the men were delicious (ok well like some of them), ok well only Philip, (we STAN Philip), and the vibes? PERFECT.

Andrea was the only downside, and truly vile. The kind of character that goes right through you. I was just waiting for her to dramatically trip down the stairs or something. We all know an Andrea, unfortunately. (Mines my next door neighbour)

If you’re after a feel-good, filthy, full-of-heart comedy that doesn’t take itself too seriously, please pick this one. It’s fabulous. One of my absolute favourites. Sophia Gravia, you’ve got a new lifelong fan!
