I don't think I read this exact edition. It was the novelization of the film (as apposed to the original text). I'd read it several times as a child, before I ever saw the Disney movie. I loved it! I even caught a dragonfly in my father's garden, and named him Evanrude! He lived in a jar beside my bed, and was buried in the garden where I found him. I think I was maybe five years old.
