Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe
by Fannie Flagg
3.5
I think it could have been improved a lot with a different editing style. The book starting with rambling non context stories was confusing. Sometimes the flow was nonsensical or hard to follow. Also the cast was too wide, I would be sometimes very lost about who's chapter I was reading.
Wasn't a fan of the modern side of the story. It made for a very touching ending but I didn't really find the modern storyline interesting or helped tie the story together.
All that out of the way I really liked the story! Great characters and fun stories throughout the book. A nice relaxing story and fun to get lost in the world. If I only think about the historic story it's a 4.5 :)
