That was…not good. I love TJR’s books but this one really did not do it for me. The writing was extremely unrealistic and cringy. I didn’t love or even like any of the main characters and I found many plot points to be poorly placed, unnecessary or just the wrong choice.

Specifically: I believe Vanessa should have died! Hot take but they set it up so perfectly that she would and it made sense but I got the sense that TJR was just scared of what would happen if a main character died.
