The Indigo Girl by Natasha Boyd
3.0

This book was difficult to rate. Some sections are tedious and unnecessary, but other portions are well-written and lead the reader along the path of this woman's life. As a historian, I would have preferred more history about the area, the time, the politics, but the author does drop in bits of relevant historical facts. Nonetheless, this book is a historical fiction that is quite gripping and as the reader you want to find out what happens to Eliza. Due to some parts being less cohesive or as well-written as others I have given the book at 3.
