Save It for Later: Promises, Parenthood, and the Urgency of Protest by Nate Powell

reflective sad tense medium-paced

3.0

It was only after finishing this book that I saw it described as a collection of graphic essays. I was expecting graphic memoir. So I understand now why it felt a bit disjointed. As others have said, I think this book's strength is the personal reflection and the artwork. When it was more philosophical, even though I agree with a lot of the conclusions, I just felt the writing got a bit muddy.
