A fun and positive middle grade graphic novel, inspired by the real life Salam School girls' basketball team in Milwaukee. A variety of relatable experiences - keeping up in school, being new to a community, teamwork and friendship, family relationships, and overcoming challenges (on and off the court) - with the specific lens of being a female Muslim athlete. Excited to recommend it to students!
