I really thought this was going to be a winner but it didn’t quite live up to the hook. A faceless boogeyman in the woods called Opso who captures people, wanting to take their face as his own. A sister is taken and Brenda summons the courage to enter the woods to find answers.
This is part of a short stories collection that I’m reading for Halloween vibes. I liked it, didn’t love it. I’m waiting for a story to creep me out, but when I thought this one might ramp up it didn’t and then it ended. Onto the next!
