Too many annoying things for a good rating..
- too much (needless) violence, the H and his brothers kept hitting when upset, never seeing reason to TALK beforehand.
-other times they couldn't QUIT talking about their history and lives, I continued skipping paragraphes, there seemed to be no end to this. All 8 (!) brothers HAD to be introduced in a very detailed way in this first book of the series... and not just at the sidelines, but really thoroughly, it was exhausting, not interesting.
-the sex-scenes.. I love good sex-scenes but the one's in this book.. oh they were soooo hot.. (yes, this is an attempt at sarcasm) the h was blown away by the H (entire chapters seemed to be filled with the affermations how hot and hard and deep and good the sex was) but nevertheless she zoned out and had endless thoughts about her life, her dad, her ex, all during this amazing sex!! I couldn't understand how this should be possible. Good sex equals no thinking! Not endless thinking. How did she manage to concentrate on those trains of thoughts?
-the scene with the h's ex... wouldn't spoil it for you, therefore I can just say: aaarrrggghhh.!!!
I thought about giving this 2 stars, but writing this review I've convinced myself 1 star is all this book gets from me. Sorry (not).
