Omg YES this was one of the best things I’ve read all year! It was so wonderfully heartwarming. The characters felt extremely real, and it reminded me of how sweet high school love can be. The simplicity and intensity of attraction at that age is beautifully captured here. Not that their relationship is simple, of course. Navigating a queer relationship, especially at this age, has plenty of complications. This is my first time in a long time (maybe ever?) reading a graphic novel that has installments like this, and I think I like the pacing so much more. A single standalone graphic novel goes too quickly for me! I immediately placed a library hold request for volume 2.
