The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

I weirdly really liked this book! Not a lot happens, and the author is very repetitive, but I loved the characters. Holden is very relatable, and he feels like a real teenager. His thoughts are very similar to the cynical know it all thoughts I had when I was a teenager the author did a really good job capturing what it’s like to be that age and feel like no one cares. I can see why a lot of people don’t like this book, but I really enjoyed it.
