You Don't Know Me
by Imran Mahmood
I thought this was a well executed court room drama, with the story unfolding entirely through the closing speech of the defendent in court transcripts. It really made me think about how I would come to a decision on whether someone was guilty or innocent if I was on the jury listening to that. It came across as an authentic and convincing description of life for young people in our big cities facing gang life every day.
