This was a really enlightening read. An interesting look behind the scenes of Amazon, although also scary in a kind of emperor-wears-no-clothes kind of way. I think this confirmed for me a lot of the things I thought about the way big sweeping companies like Amazon function, but it felt a bit disheartening to see them confirmed. It was unbelievable and completely believable at the same time. I listened to the audiobook narrated by the author and I sped through it in no time. At times it made me laugh, at times it gave me a funny knot in my stomach. It made me realise how much of my own feelings of perpetual self-doubt might just be the weird reality of being a woman in a job. 
The writing was sometimes a bit repetitive, but that also fit the story and overall the pacing was spot on for me. Very interested to read her other work.
