This book contains two legends from China in picture book format. While quite different from each other, they are both very well done. We loved the inclusion of Hanzi characters in The Master Swordsman (my 6-year old was excited to translate those he knew). The illustrations are beautiful and the messages cleverly concealed with in each story are valuable.
