Hmm, I'm not sure if all it was the early 2000 thriller writing or whether this book was just badly written, but the book felt rather underwhelming. The plot was EVERYWHERE. It was like the author didn't know if there were enough twists and started changing the plot every chapter, was giving major plot whiplash. The whole thing kind of felt corny and predictable by the end. Good points: The chapters were short and it was an easy read.
