Okay, I don’t really like Levana for obvious reasons, and I’m glad that this book didn’t really make me like her.
However, I can respect her hustle and Levana is That Bitch that would do whatever it takes to get what she wants, even if it’s at the expense of herself or others around her. This was actually a really good villain origin story: you get to understand her ambitions, you learn about her past, but her actions aren’t justified, at least to the extent that Cinder has justified her actions. Levana justifies herself by saying it’s what she wants. That’s it. I can respect that.
NOW ONTO WINTER SO I CAN SEE WOLF AND SCARLET AND THORNE AND CRESS AND CINDER AND KAI AGAIN!!!!
